About Us

Meet the Makers

We’re Jordan and Jaclyn Moore, the married makers behind dust & ashes co. After 18 years of marriage and absolutely failing to identify a shared hobby, we each fell for our own crafts that work beautifully together — Jaclyn in ceramics, Jordan in woodworking. We chose
the name dust & ashes as a humbling acknowledgment of our place before our Creator and a nod to the byproducts
of our crafts. Every hand-crafted piece is thrown, fired, cut, assembled, and finished at our home in Gig Harbor, Washington.

Our Workshop Partners

We’re grateful to create and teach alongside our friends Teryl and Jonathan Isenberg. Teryl is a teacher by profession whose energy, creativity, and instinct for hands-on learning bring a lively, engaging rhythm to every workshop. Jonathan hosts with the same generosity and care, preparing the food and creating the welcoming atmosphere that makes each gathering feel like an evening among friends. Their home, hospitality, and collaborative spirit shape the heart of our classes, and we’re thankful for the partnership that makes our workshops possible.
